Two years ago I travelled to Estonia, with a few days in Finland to visit the home of Jean Sibelius and week long stop-over to go hiking in Hornstadir in Iceland on the way back. Not only did I go to the Song Festival, I actually sang in it! What you see here is about 25,000 choristers from all around Estonia and the world and about 75,000 people in the audience. That would be about 1 in every 10 Estonians!
